Alexis Honigbaum, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist accredited by the American Board of Dermatology. Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Honigbaum earned her undergraduate degree graduating magna cum laude from the University of Miami before receiving her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS), where she also completed a preliminary year in Internal Medicine.

EXPERIENCE
She went on to complete her Dermatology Residency at the University of South Florida, where she developed a strong connection to the Tampa Bay area. After practicing in Massachusetts, Dr. Honigbaum decided to return to Tampa Bay to continue her dermatologic career and be closer to her family.
Dr. Honigbaum specializes in medical and surgical dermatology and has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national dermatology meetings. In 2022, she was named in Newsweek’s “America’s Best Medical Dermatologists.” She is excited to join Dr. Nayyar and the team at DermaClinique, where she looks forward to providing compassionate, high-quality dermatologic care to the community.
